I'm Alisha, a wedding and portrait photographer located in Massachusetts. I focus to capture your love story and believe that there is no picture more beautiful than that of someone in love. I use my attention to detail and how to navigate a crowd to capture specifically that – the emotion, the moment, the magic. I strive to create beautiful and timeless imagery for you to cherish and share for future generations.
As long as I can remember my grandfather collected film cameras of any sorts for me. He used to go to yard sales and dig. I look back and find that as much as I loved looking at photographs or taking them as a kid I didn’t appreciate the abundance of love he was sending my way. A few years ago he passed and I told his tradition of collecting film cameras apart of me on a wedding day. The beauty of film brings the rawness within a photo and has this touch and feel effect that is so different than a digital image. Incorporating the art of digital and film to any photo session weather it’s a family session, wedding or within my daily routine I’m reminded that the essence of a photo is so much more meaningful than looking through the viewfinder or seeing it on screen. I want my artwork from your day to be hung on your wall, printed in a book or frames for generations to come.
Every wedding is unique to each couple and their wedding details. My approach on being apart of your day is to make you feel comfortable, beautiful, create timeless imagery and of course have fun! I want you to feel as if we’ve known each other for years and on your wedding day it feels like you’re catching up with an “old” friend vs having a stranger walk in. I love creating chemistry with my couples from your initial call to your engagement session. Alisha will make you feel as if it was your best decision hiring her for your wedding day. I want my couples to feel the emotion behind their wedding images that stops you to relive that moment one image at a time.
